Sutter County Sheriffs Reserve Association is divided into three different categories, each one responsible for a separate area.
Operations Unit- The primary function is to assist with patrol functions as well as other duties with the primary function being to protect the communities well being.
Special Assignment Unit- The primary function is to train other Deputies, whether they are operating in a Reserve capacity or a Full Time capacity. These are also Reserves that are not necessarily required to work patrol shifts each month as their primary duties are administrative.
Senior Reserve Unit- This unit is made up of those whom are retired and still seek to benefit the community, they serve a support role within the Reserve unit and assist with many of the community events and functions hosted throughout each year.
